เมื่อวันที่ ๑๒ มีนาคม ๒๕๖๗ นายณรงค์ บุญเสถียรวงศ์ ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่สำนักงานการค้าและเศรษฐกิจไทย กล่าวเปิดงานงานเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำในโอกาสการจัดงาน "Thailand MICE Road Show in Taiwan 2024" ที่โรงแรม Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel เพื่อส่งเสริมการขยายตลาดสำหรับธุรกิจ MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences, Events) ในไต้หวัน โดยสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการ (สสปน.) ได้นำผู้ประกอบการไทยเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเชื่อมโยงทางธุรกิจกับภาคเอกชนไต้หวัน

ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ฯ ย้ำถึงศักยภาพของไทยต่อการจัดงาน MICE ทั้งความพร้อมด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและความเป็นเลิศด้านบริการ ซึ่งมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งต่อความสำเร็จของการจัดกิจกรรมขนาดใหญ่ทุกสาขา อนึ่ง การจัดงานครั้งนี้ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีจากภาคเอกชนไต้หวัน

On 12 March 2024, Mr. Narong Boonsatheanwong, Executive Director of Thailand Trade and Economic Office, delivered opening remarks at the banquet event of the "Thailand MICE Road Show in Taiwan 2024" at Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel. The roadshow was organised to promote Thailand as the destination of MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences, Events) for Taiwan. The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has brought Thai private sectors to connect with Taiwanese companies. On this occasion, the Executive Director emphasised Thailand's strength in terms of both its reliable hardware infrastructure and excellent services, which are very important for the success of the MICE event.
